Wanslea Guesthouse in Ambleside assures a warm welcome for all visitors, whether in Ambleside for relaxation, strenuous activity in the beautiful English Lake District or something in between. We provide a unique bed and breakfast holiday experience with our themed or standard rooms.
At Wanslea Guest House, the safety and well-being of our guests is our highest priority. As we all continue to monitor the coronavirus COVID-19, we want to make you aware of the measures we have implemented to help safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone who stays with us, and ourselves. With this in mind, we have made a few changes to our usual way of doing things…
We will, for a short while, be limiting the number of guests we can take.
At check-in we will always respect the social distancing procedures. We will be using signage at the front door to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols – there will be no hand shaking! (however, always a smile!) and we will try to keep things as brief as possible.
Located in reception and on each of the floor landings will be medical grade 80% alcohol hand sanitiser gel.
Breakfast will possibly be served in two sittings –depending on the number of guests staying, this is so we can adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
Breakfast serving will be different, we won’t be able to offer the standard self-serve buffet but the same selection can be pre-ordered and served to you at your table, in the same way as the cooked option always is.
To prevent cross contamination, daily room cleaning will be reduced. This is to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
We hope you understand and thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
